Delete your account and data

You can request deletion without installing or opening the app.

Send your request to [email protected] from the email linked to your app account. Say that you want to delete your account and its data in the “Stop Drinking Alcohol: Freedom” app. If you use Apple Hide My Email or cannot access that address, contact us so we can verify account ownership another way. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or identity documents.

What happens next

We verify account ownership before removing data. Confirmed requests are handled manually in our daily deletion review. In-app deletion disables access immediately and queues the account for this review; it does not mean all server data disappears instantly.

Account deletion covers your profile, health and alcohol logs, assessments, programme progress, mentor messages and voice recordings, notification tokens and account-linked activity data.

Limited transaction-verification or security records may be retained where necessary for fraud prevention or legal obligations. If an exception applies to your request, we will explain which records are retained, why and the applicable retention period. Other account data is removed during the daily review after verification.

Delete selected data instead

You can use the same email address to request removal of specific data while keeping your account. Tell us which data you want removed. You can also delete your own chat messages and saved health entries inside the app.

Subscriptions

Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Manage or cancel it separately in your store account. You do not need to cancel a subscription before requesting data deletion.
