How we publish
Editorial policy
SK LABS is responsible for the content on sober-freedom.com. This policy explains who writes it, how we use sources and AI tools, and how to tell us when something needs correcting.
Authorship and our interest in Freedom
The SK LABS editorial team is the publisher’s team responsible for preparing and maintaining this website. SK LABS Sp. z o.o. develops and publishes Freedom app, so we have a commercial interest in the product we describe. Our guides and comparisons should be read with that relationship in mind.
An SK LABS byline identifies that publishing responsibility. It does not imply authorship by a doctor, an independent clinical panel or a separate news organization. Szymon Kustra is Freedom’s founder and mentor; that role is distinct from a medical qualification.
Sources and factual claims
For health-related explanations, our standard is to prefer official public health guidance and original research, with references close to the claims they support. A citation should let the reader find the underlying information, rather than merely name a respected organization.
We check the population, outcome, date and limits of research when using it. Evidence supporting a general coping strategy does not prove Freedom app’s effectiveness. Product descriptions are checked against the implemented features; estimates, tester feedback and personal experiences must be identified for what they are.
Frase and AI assistance
We use Frase for search research and content analysis, and AI tools to assist with research, outlines and drafts. These tools can suggest useful questions and wording, but can also produce incorrect claims or references.
SK LABS retains responsibility for what we publish. Our publishing standard requires checking factual claims and references, reviewing the wording and approving the final page. An AI-generated draft, a Frase score or an automated check is not medical review, proof of accuracy or evidence of independent endorsement.
Expert contributions and medical review
We do not describe a page as medically reviewed unless a qualified reviewer has actually reviewed the stated material. Where that happens, the page should identify the reviewer, relevant credentials, review date and scope. Reviewing one article does not establish approval of the entire website or app.
If we commission paid expert writing or review, we disclose the contributor’s role and paid relationship alongside the contribution. Payment does not turn an opinion into clinical evidence or establish that Freedom is effective. We do not imply that external medical review has occurred where it has not.
Translations and publication approval
Translations may use AI assistance, but require SK LABS approval before publication. Our standard is to preserve the meaning, factual limits, source references and safety information of the approved source page while using natural language.
A translated page does not imply review by a local clinician or a native-speaking expert unless we explicitly identify that review. The language selector should offer the translations actually published for the page.
Publication dates and updates
Publication dates show when a page first appeared. An updated date records a revision; it is not a certification that every claim has been independently reviewed on that date.
Product changes, relevant new evidence and reported errors can prompt a revision. We do not promise continuous monitoring of every source or a fixed review interval for all pages. When correcting a material factual error, our standard is to make the correction clear and update the page date.
Report an error or request a correction
Email [email protected] with the page address, the sentence or detail you believe is wrong, and a supporting source if you have one. Please say whether the issue concerns a factual claim, a broken link, a translation or a product description.
SK LABS reviews correction requests against the page and the available evidence. A report may lead to a correction, clarification or a request for more information. This contact is for website feedback, not urgent medical support.
